New cards and a winner!

I'm using the random integer program to generate the lucky winner of the Martha Stewart heart punch.

The winner is Ruby! Ruby, email me your address and I'll ship it right away! (I'm doing something wrong...it's not showing Ruby's number. Sorry!)

I love this fashion image...the pretty purples and greens.

The cherubs are darling in this vintage advertisement for Hoyt's German cologne.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome to the Vintage Valentine Card Party!

Happy Valentine's Day and welcome to the party! I've posted a couple of vintage valentines from my collection. Feel free to use them in your paper art. Both of them were purchased here in OKC at an antique store we frequent. I love vintage valentines! Just looking at them gives me joy!

I'm also having a give away. Have you ever purchased two of the same thing? Amazingly, I've done it more than once! Anyway, several weeks ago I was opening things I had purchased from Michaels (two separate trips), when I noticed I had two of the same Martha Stewart heart punch. Good grief...couldn't even remember purchasing the first one!

The one on the left I've been using...the one on the right hasn't been used at all. I would like to give it away. If you're interested in winning my extra Martha Stewart heart punch leave me a comment and I'll randomly pick a winner. Since Joan is leaving the links up for a week, I'll post the winner next Sunday.

Thanks for visiting!

Baby Carriages

Hi! Here's a couple of baby carriages I made recently. The purple one is for my friend, Jennifer, who is getting ready to have a baby girl. If you want to make one, you can find the template here.

Rain or Shine...You're Mine, Valentine!

Here's another valentine card using a vintage image. Aren't they darling?

Also take a look at a couple of my valentine soldered charms. I've been wearing them a lot lately...getting in the valentine spirit, you know.
I've got to get Dennis his valentine chocolates. I try to get the biggest one possible. Do you like chocolates? Personally, I'd rather have some Hershey Special Dark nuggets!

New pictures and a wonderful party

Hi! Hope everyone had a great weekend! It was so nice to see a lot of you on Sunday. The show was wonderful and I loved getting to see each of you. If you were here, then you've already seen these in person. I love this little Scottie! I whipped him up using a blanket stitch and a little stuffing, added a couple of suckers, and there you a go.... a very cute Valentine!

I really like this paper, for some reason it reminds me of a vintage hanky. The color is a little off...I'm going to have to invest in a light tent!

I also really like that big "Hey There" stamp. That's from Papertrey Ink. Well, thanks for looking and have a great rest of your week!

A couple of new things

I got a new camera! I'm still figuring it out...the pictures aren't quite what I think they should be. But here is a new Valentine decoration (I love her, googly eyes and all!).

I put her on the frame in my office, so I can enjoy her at work. This birdhouse is actually a gift the box. The right side of the roof lifts up, so that goodies can be placed inside.

The template can be found here.

ARRR you mine, Valentine?

Yes, it's a little corny...but cute, don't you think?

I love old valentine cards. They are so fun. They just don't look the same these days. This one has the cutest little cat and I love the pink felt heart.

Isn't this the cutest stamp?
The little guy is so sweet, directing the birds.
My next show is January 24th. If you didn't get an invitation this week and would like one let me know. I've been busy creating new things for everyone to see.
