Sweet Silhouette

Love, love this silhouette!  It's just the sweetest with that little kitty looking up at the pretty little girl - do you think she's lecturing her dolly? 

 I used some lovely K & Co papers and a doily die from Papertrey Ink to make that little piece at the top.

  This was my first try to make a rose out of my seam binding ribbon - I think I'm happy with it!   Hope you are having a great week - so glad you stopped by!

Mother's Day and Flowers at Craft Us Crazy!

My card is a vintage image Mother's Day card.  It does have a flower - I hesitated at first to make a brown rose, but I ended up really liking it! 

 The cute little envelope is from Papertrey Ink and the stamp is from a set by Melissa Frances.  My grandmother gave me a bunch of old booklets that I often use (you can see a tiny piece peeping out from behind the envelope).   The design team's inspiring projects have been posted at Craft Us Crazy - go see!  And post your own wonderful creation - I can't wait to see them all!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!   I realized I hadn't posted some of my Easter things, so this seems a great time to do it!  I love these angels - just think they are so pretty! 

They didn't need much to turn them into a beautiful Easter card:  just cut out the frame and popped it up, glittered liberally, and added pretty ribbon...

For I know it's Easter morn,

and life and love and peace

are all new born.

These Webster pages papers are so pretty, they don't seem to need much either.  I cut out the middle with a Spellbinders die and popped it up.  Glitter and pretty ribbon again!

This little guy has kept me company at work for the past month or so.

  A sweet little bunny in a cute little basket just makes me happy!  Wishing you and yours all the best...

Sweet Girls and a Guy Card

These cards were sent to my husband's parents.

  They are a part of the April flurry of birthdays.  My mom's is April 15, Lauren and her grandpa share an April 16th birthday, and my mother-in-law's birthday is the 17th. 

 The sweet little girl image is from Iralamija's etsy shop and that cool lace shelving paper is from 32 degrees North.  

Do your birthdays come mostly at one time?  It's curious, but a lot of people I ask do have birthdays in their family that cluster together.  I wonder why!?

Polka Dot Rabbits

Here are a couple of polka dot rabbits all ready for Easter!  That's  my old Easter basket, which is also the one my daughter, Lauren, carried for Easter Egg Hunts.  (Hey, Mom - Is this also Daddy's basket?)  I need to fix the stragglers on the handle!  It's looking a little worn.  

 The paper is digital from My Time Made Easy.   I stapled two shaped bunnies together at the ear to create the card.

  Added a fluffy tail and a few other goodies - but pretty simple over all.   I made several of these for special orders and for my little cousins.  Happy bunnies!

Birthday Card

Hi!  I just spent a wonderful weekend with my family.  Lauren turned 25 this weekend, so we (Dennis, me, my mom and dad, and Paul's mom) drove up to Wichita to celebrate.  It just so happens that it's also my mom's, and my husband's parents' birthdays, as well!   We had a great time visiting.   Lauren had discovered a great antique store called the Paramount.  So, of course, we had to go... Got a ton of stuff - vintage nut cups, bingo cards, flashcards, lace...  FUN!  

This card is one that I designed for Daddy to give to Mom for her birthday.  The little fairy image is from The Graphics Fairy.

  She's just darling!  The paper is K&Co and DCWV, along with vintage sheet music.  The stamp is from a whole package of them that I got at an antique store.  I just love the color of them!   Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
