Hope you are having a happy day! In spite of having major storm damage last week and dealing with insurance adjustors, etc... I'm having a happy day (couple of days)! We went to a 17th century French art exhibit last night which is on loan from The National Gallery. It was wonderful... I'm having fun today coming up with some July 4th creations and just got back from taking a load to Goodwill. I need to stay focused and sort and take more... (As you can see, that is not happening.)
I have a sweet, simple card to share with you today. The darling children image and papers are from Iralamija's shop of goodies. I'm going to continue my happy day with fun creations (my sweet kitty-boy is keeping me company) and hope you're having a happy day, too!

I'm Nuts About You!
This cute acorn shape is from The Cutting Cafe. The Welcome Fall set comes with 46 shapes! The papers are October Afternoon and that cute squirrel is a stamp from WeRMemoryKeepers..JPG)
Fairly simple, just added some of my favorite ribbon, buttons, an acorn and a tag. I'm ready for fall and it's just not feeling that way yet...higher temps than normal here. Oh, well, I'm ready when it gets here!

The Cutting Cafe Elephant
This darling elephant is from The Cutting Cafe. It's included in All About Babies. The set is great! Lots of cute images. Earlier, I used the duck image to make my duck pull toy. The elephant is part of a digi-stamp. You can see what the circle stamp looks like on the lollipop gift tag..JPG)
I changed the color to brown and colored an extra elephant and popped him up on the tag. The papers are a favorite from Cosmo Cricket. Added my pretty crinkle ribbon and a vintage button. To make the card, I enlarged the elephant and printed it toward the bottom of a piece of cardstock..JPG)
I then scored the cardstock right at the top of his back, folded the cardstock and cut out the elephant. (Tip: It's much easier to cut out the top layer and then cut around it for the bottom layer!) The banner was made with another awesome set from The Cutting Cafe: Assorted Banner Templates. I added the letters for BABY and printed it on old ledger paper..JPG)
Added some tiny scallops and finished it off with stars, buttons and twine. What do you think about my first project for The Cutting Cafe as a design team member? Thanks for stopping by!
