Build a Wreath with Single Stamps + Giveaway + Winner!

Sweet and cute - you know that's my thing!  Today I've got a couple of cute and sweet projects featuring wreaths made with single stamps for Christmas in July!

Welcome to the third post of Visions of Sugarplums in July!  You can scroll down to see the first two posts with fun projects and videos.  Or click HERE and HERE.

The challenge is over, but I do have a small giveaway below.  And also a video with tips on creating wreaths.

This wreath is stamped with an oval in mind, but also a little wonky here and there.  That sweet kitty is from one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets:  Purrfect Holdays.

And I have a set to give away!  If you would like to have this sweet stamp set to create some cards of your own, just let me know in the comments.  I'll choose a winner (by random selection).  The winner will be announced Sunday, August 4th.

This fun wreath tag features stamps from Waffle Flower.  And this is my go-to treat bag (again)!

Check out the video:

Now for the winner of the Visions of Sugarplums (in July) challenge!  The winner is Gail from Crafty Nomad.  Gail has won $20 at Simon Says Stamp!  Gail if you don't get an email from me today, please email me at lhairston@cox.net.

Thank you to everyone who linked up to the challenge!  I loved seeing all of your creations.

Front Door Tag for TCC

Regina has a lovely front door shaped card file available at The Cutting Cafe.  I used it to create a tag.

The wreath was made with the holly leaves and one of the bows that comes with the file.

I was listening to Christmas music while I was putting this together - that's what led to the sentiment from "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas."  Right now, it does not look (or feel) like Christmas, but I'm hearing that Thursday it might actually be cold (60s in December in Oklahoma is just not right)!  Yep, the meterologist just said lows in the teens.  That will really feel cold after this warm weather we've been having!

Check out The Cutting Cafe Blog tomorrow for more projects using the front door file and I'm sure Regina will have a special deal just for you!

Christmas Fun at The Cutting Cafe

It's Christmas Fun time at The Cutting Cafe.  We are all using the cut file Christmas Ornament Fun.

I love the shape of this ornament - it makes a wonderful tag!  I used the nesting ornament portion of the cut file to cut the red background and music ornament pieces.  Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe Blog for this week's inspiration and special.  I'm sure Regina has got something fun!
