Paper Sweeties October Release

Hi there!  Welcome to Day One of the October Paper Sweeties Release!  I have a fall project for you today.   It all started with a simple linen bag.  I picked up a package of them at Michaels, so I didn't have to cut or sew.  That certainly made this project a lot quicker!

The pumpkin is from the new Give Thanks stamp set and the sentiment is from Autumn Blessings.  The flourish underneath is actually a butterfly trail from the Smile stamp set - all of which will be available on October 15th at Paper Sweeties.

The pumpkin and vine are colored with Copics - which work very well on the linen.  The Paper Sweeties stamps made this very easy to decorate!  Check out the Paper Sweeties blog for other projects with the new stamps and for information on the challenges and current prizes.  So glad you came by - have a wonderful week!

Paper Sweeties Day Two

I've got another drawstring bag today - but this one looks quite a bit different from yesterday's.  This one is made of heavy muslin and pink ribbon.  This one is the same in that features the brand new release stamps from Paper Sweeties.

Isn't that a pretty carriage stamp?  I love those sweet postage stamps, too!  This is a perfect little bag to tuck in a "sweet little something" for a friend.  The finished size on this is about 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Ladybug Hugs with Paper Sweeties

It's Paper Sweeties Release Time!  Today, I'm featuring a really cute Ladybug set.  It's got a new costume for the Paper Sweeties dolls and the cutest ladybug stamps.

I made a ladybug bug drawstring bag to go with my Paper Sweetie.  I had bought the red burlap at Michaels sometime ago and I used the same technique I showed here to paint black dots. 

Packed inside are some cute ladybug "lollipops" that can be used as cupcake toppers, on a scrapbook page, or used on a card.
