St. Pat's Easy Muslin Bag

Looking for something easy, but really cute for St. Patrick's Day?   This muslin bag may just fit the bill (or chocolate coin)...

It seems that muslin bags are just adorable all by themselves.  Dress them up a little and they are about as cute as they can be!

You just need a few supplies:

You'll also need your favorite St. Patrick's Day stamps.  I used  Lucky You from Verve Stamps.

I inked the stamps with the dark green ink first and lightly stamped it on a piece of paper to get rid of some of the ink.  Then I inked the stamps again with the lighter green.  The bow is hand sewn in place (don't sew it to the back layer!).

Now, just add chocolate coins for a fun, tasty St. Patrick's Day treat!

Hope you have the luck of the Irish this week!

Visions of Sugarplums 2013 Day 3

Hello again!  It's  the third day of Visions of Sugarplums!  Hope you're enjoying all the fun projects.  I've so enjoyed getting to see what everyone has been creating.  Let's start by announcing day two winners:

Day Two Winners
bearsmother - $10 to Paper Sweeties
scrappymo - $20 to Nicecrane Designs
Jeannette DeJesus - Digital Set of choice from Vintage Bella
cghundley - set of choice from Moonlighting by Mary

The first couple of projects up today feature lovely images from Iralamija shop.  I love visiting Beaty's shop - there is always something I want!  This box is made with images from Christmas Jar Collage.

I also made some tags using those oh, so pretty jars.  I printed the jars I used for the box a little larger to make sure there was room for the tags.

How about these vintage image Santa Christmas envelopes?

So very easy to put together - perfect for a gift card or little treat!

Giveaway #1
Beatrice from Iralamija Shop is offering a lucky reader one set of your choice!  Just comment on this post for a chance to win.

This is the third day of the new December Release at Paper Sweeties.  I heat embossed the snowflakes from Thanks Snow Much.  The sentiment is from Homespun Holidays.  I think I'm going to use this to write a special note to someone special.  You know, the kind of note that you keep and love coming across in later years.   I LOVE this little angel!  I just think she's adorable.  You may remember her from the muslin bag I posted earlier.

She is from Make the Season Bright.  Visit the Paper Sweeties Blog to see more ideas for Christmas stamps!

Sweet Angel Muslin Bag

Welcome to the last day of the November Roll Out for Paper Sweeties!  Included in the new stamps and dies is this sweet angel.   I stamped her right on the bag and added a little bit of pink color.

She is part of the Make the Season Bright set.   Right now you can save if you bundle the stamps and dies!  This bag was a lot of fun to make.

I love the lace and the snowflakes and how about this cool 3-D heart ornament made with the heart from Homespun Holidays?

It is so easy to make.  It's made just like the leaf ornaments I posted a tutorial on the other day. The only difference is that I stamped the heart on vellum with Versamark and heat embossed the image.  I really like it!

The Paper Sweeties Blog is showing more projects - check it out!
