They have a great range of stamps (You can see a silhouette stamp I used here). The prize is a $10 gift certificate!
We also have a weekly sponsor: Cocoa Dingo!
The prize is four digital images of the winner's choice!
I chose to make a pressed flower packet for the Nature theme. We have some beautiful flowers in our yard every year (and Dennis also sends me pretty flowers) and I checked out how to preserve them. After they're preserved, I wanted a pretty place to keep them. I made a packet out of a brown paper sack - sewing up the sides and across the bottom, too, so the pockets wouldn't be quite so deep. I decorated the outside like a card I created earlier (so it may look a little familiar).
I love the vintage seed packet and the pretty Kaiser Papercraft papers. I'm really liking that little bee, too! The pressed flower packets are glassine bags with two sheets of transparency inside.
Once I have the flowers dried, I'll place them between the transparencies and sew up the edges. Also inside is a library card for journaling, so I can tell about the flower.
On the outside of the glassine bags, are what I call "the flower girls." I've used them on cards and I absolutely love them! I can't wait for the spring flowers to start blooming so I can start pressing! In the meantime, check out all the details for the Nature challenge at Craft Us Crazy...
