Jadite

Hmmm...I wonder if I spelled that correctly: Jadite? Anyway, however it's spelled I love my new (well, new to me) cups and saucers.
Love the color and love the shape! Lauren got me these for Christmas from a wonderful antique store in downtown Wichita. I also got a new sewing machine, which is awesome! Here's Lauren trying on one of Paul's Christmas gifts.

I think they are more fans of OU now than when they were attending there. Here is a picture of Paul and his mother showing the gift I made for her. It's Paul as a first grade cub scout and then his pin and certificate for becoming an eagle scout.

We had a great Christmas. Hope you did, too!

Christmas Cookies

Dennis and I made cookies so I could give them to all the people at work. Here are a few photos:

This is how they were packaged:

These santa faces were made from the left over dough.

I made this birthday card for a friend to give to his son. He is big into golf and just turned thirty.

Finally, another post!

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted something! Here is a cute Christmas hanging featuring my friend's little boy, Bobby. Isn't he cute?

These are some cigar boxes with makeovers! I love the Romeo and Juliet box - it is so pretty!

The others weren't so pretty without papers, but they are really cool because they open in the middle instead of the traditional way.

New Cards

Here is another guy birthday card. I still think they are harder - no bows, no glitter! (Those are my mom's pretty hands!)
I love this sweet little girl image.
These two are made with reproduction advertising labels. The second one uses Jenni Bowlin's pretty new papers.

A couple of little cards

I love this paper by Crate Paper. Also, the Pink Paislee is always great.
This one is simple, but cute. I think the little girl is darling. I'm going to make several of these to use for thank yous.

Butterflies and a Cute Nursery Rhyme Card

These two use the new Ambrosia line from Basic Grey and the background blue paper is from Pink Paislee. On this one, the frame and tag are stamped on old ledger paper.

And here is the nursery rhyme card (inside it says "Hi!"):

Time to create

Today I exercised, cleaned, and had a little time to create. This card is made with papers from Jenni Bowlin and a vintage angel image.

Boo!

A couple of weeks ago, I made 14 of this little banner! I am happy that other people think it is cute, too!

Here's another variation of the baby hodge podge book. This one is for a friend to give a friend at her shower.

She's having a Mad Hatter Baby Shower so I found this vintage image and had some new clear stamps from Alpha Stamps that included the Mad Hatter.
Here is a page to stamp the baby's feet:

A little book using Jack's World Papers

A little book I made for a friend. Sorry, a couple of pictures are blurry. I hate that! But, isn't this picture of Bobby darling? He's 4 now and still extremely cute!
