Cute Owl Card + Video

I just got an order in from Woodware.  Such cute stamps!  Love these owls - aren't they sweet?  Had some fun with my watercolors again, too.

I've got some of the stamps in my Etsy store.  Take a look there's some new ones and a few I've had before.  Maybe you missed that cute snowman stamp?

I've got a video showing another way to make a flat shaker element and watercoloring the owls watercolors and the tree limb is a combination of distress ink and watercolor.

So glad you stopped by!

Cutie Pierrot Birthday + Free Image

I really love creating birthday cards and it's so nice to be asked to create a card for someone else's special somebody.  This birthday card is for Gail from her husband, Kirby.

I like that my card will carry a special birthday message for Gail.  This sweet little Pierrot is another vintage Agnes Richardson.  I think she's perfect to wish someone a special happy birthday.  Look at all the presents she's carrying!

Would you like to send a special somebody a special birthday card?  You can download the Agnes Richardson Pierrot HERE.

Hope you're having a lovely week!

Halloween Printable Treat Box & Kitty

I just love creating for Halloween!  Is it the orange and black?  Yes.  Is it the black cats?  Yes.  Is it goodies?  Yes.  Do you love them, too?  If you do, I've got something fun for you!

You can download this adorable kitty and this pretty plaid box is printable, too!  (Isn't the hat cute?  I got this idea from Lisa Minkler.  She put the cutest hat on one of the Agnes Richardson kids from one of my kits.  So fun!)

Download the box HERE.  For complete directions (it's easy!), watch the video!

Download the kitty HERE.   The download includes the original kitty valentine.

Watch the video - (It seems that it is a little blurry in places.   So strange that it can look okay in my editor.  I'm working on getting better at this, but I'm sorry in the meantime!   I just got a new lens so here's hoping!)

So glad you dropped by.  Have a wonderful week!

Paper Doll Blocks + Video + Free Image

I am in a paper doll mood!  I must be in a wooden block kind of mood, too.  Did you see the other paper doll block?  My great aunt Jane found these Sixties (I think) paper dolls for my mom quite some time ago.  They are ADORABLE!  You'll notice this one is named Karen - that's my mom's name, too!

I keep this set of blocks on my desk in the summer.  I think they look like they're wearing swimsuits.  They make me smile every time I see them.  I change the little cuties around every once in awhile, so I see a different one.

I've got these paper dolls all ready to be printed.   They are on a beautiful vintage ledger sheet which really adds character to the blocks.  You can download them either with or without the cut lines.   The cut lines are there so you don't have to figure out where the center is on each doll.  Just cut right inside the lines.

My blocks are 1 1/2", but you could use a different size.  You would just need to print the paper dolls the size of your blocks.  I explain a little better how to do that in the video below.

You need just a few supplies.  First, download the paper dolls.

Download the Paper Dolls (with no frame)  HERE.
Download the Paper Dolls (with cut frames) HERE.

Next, gather wooden blocks, glue, sandpaper, distress ink, and modge podge.

Paper Doll Blocks are so easy and just so cute!  Check out the video for all the tips:

Tomorrow when I get to work, I'll change my blocks around  - I think it might be Susie's turn!

So glad you came by!
