I Support You for My Time Made Easy

At My Time Made Easy, we are continuing with the October Release.  Lauren made this pretty ribbon template in honor of Cancer Awareness.

I made a pink ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness, but you'll see several different colors at the other DT blogs.  Many of them shared their stories of how cancer has had a great affect on their lives and why they were choosing a certain color.  We have been so lucky that cancer has not entered our lives as of yet.  I am very thankful.

You can see all the new release in the New Products section at My Time Made Easy.    Be sure to visit to these blogs to see more ideas for the Ribbon Template:

Holly Jolly at My Time Made Easy

Just looking at this peppermint candy box makes me feel Holly Jolly!  That red and white with the cute candy cane stamp certainly sets the mood.  It's time for preview days of the October release at My Time Made Easy.

The Candy Wrapper Template is just perfect for Christmas - but it would also be great for birthdays, too.  I decided to create a peppermint candy wreath for the surprise inside.  I saw the original on Martha Stewart - she used icing to hold it together.  I went for the hot glue instead and added a couple of leaves, too.  The wreath is displayed for giving on a tag made from shapes in the new Homemade Holiday Labels Cut File - aren't they pretty together?

There are lots of new goodies to see today.  Check them out here:

Halloween for Craft Us Crazy and TCC

Craft Us Crazy is back!   The challenge for the next two weeks is Halloween or Anything Goes.  That makes it really easy - so link up those projects!

We are being sponsored by one of my favorites:  The Cutting Cafe.   Regina is giving away three sets of choice to the winner!  Since I'm a designer for both, I've combined my project for this week.

Chevron is everywhere!  Have you seen those cute little chevron bags for sale?  Well, you can now make your own (for a lot less).  I printed the orange chevron from the Fall Chevron Set onto copy paper, folded it up, zig zagged the sides and pinked the top.  It feels just like the bags I've bought!  The bat is from Halloween Time and the spider is from Halloween Trio.

Inside is one of the cute Halloween Bingo cards with a yummy pumpkin lollipop and a tag from Halloween This and That

Be sure to go to both Craft Us Crazy and The Cutting Cafe Blog to see fun chevron and Halloween projects.  And they've both got giveaways, too!

Chinese Take Out for AWNB

We are continuing our Asian theme at Art With No Boundaries.  Just look at these gorgeous dominoes created by Chris at CS Designs.  I used one of the traditional Geishas (on the left) and a Harajuku Girl (on the right).

I created a gift set using a clear takeout box and a pretty drink umbrella we've had in a kitchen drawer for about 20 years!   I made some paper fortune cookies to slip inside.

We hope you'll join us at Art With No Boundaries.  You'll see the DTs wonderful projects and these pretty new images!  So glad you stopped by...

Fall'n for Flair

Why are those cute little pins called Flair?  I wasn't sure, so I went to Google.  It appears that in the movie, Office Space, that Jennifer Aniston's character had buttons pinned all over her waitress apron -showing off her flair.  So, there you go, now we know (you probably already knew)...

The new theme at Paper Issues is Fall'n for Flair.  Got some Flair?  Link it up!  You could win your own flair from A Flair for Buttons.  They are giving away two sets of six buttons!

When you visit the store use the code ILOVEPAPERISSUES for a 10% discount.

Have a wonderful week!

"Couldn't Resist" Cupcakes

Do you browse the cheapo nice but reasonably priced bins at Michaels?  Sometimes I just can't resist.  These cupcakes were one of those times.  I should say, one of many times!

I think they're just darling - so sweet made out of felt.

All they needed were some fun papers in a cute shape...

And a "Celebrate" flag, of course!  Looking forward to Friday (except I have to go have some tooth surgery trying to fix a root canal that's gone bad)!  Have a great weekend!

I'm Nuts About You for The Cutting Cafe

Oh, I love FALL and I'm just waiting for it...we have had some rather nice weather lately, which makes me want fall even more!  I went with some lovely fall colors for this week's project for The Cutting Cafe, while I'm waiting for fall's colors to arrive in my yard.

I used the Acorn Shaped Card file (but as you can see I did not make a card and that acorn is considerably smaller).   I sized the acorn detail pieces down to fit a tag and cut it with my Silhouette.  I clothespinned the tag to a felt bag.  And you can see some of those cute acorn cookies that I made to put inside.

The circle sentiment is part of the set, too.

I've seen a lot of toilet paper rolls turned into pouches.  This is based on that idea, but I just rolled up a piece of felt (used tacky glue and couple of stitches to hold it together) and then zigzagged across the bottom.  Super easy!  I made it a little prettier by adding my favorites:  ribbon, twine and button!

Regina will have all the DT inspiration posted tomorrow on The Cutting Cafe Blog - she'll have a giveaway, too!  Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Good Fortune for AWNB

Hi, everybody!  Hope you had a great weekend...here we are...Monday, already!  It's time for inspiration at Art With No Boundaries.   As always Anything Goes and the bonus round is Asian Inspired.

I used Framed Geisha 1 (drawn by Chris at CS Designs).  She's so sweet and serene.

I cut part of the dragon out of the paper and slipped the Geisha underneath.  Added  the good fortune symbol and chinese coin with a vintage hat pin.

Come join us at AWNB and check the blog for all the challenge details.  Hope to see you there!

Tag, You're It

Tags, tags, and more tags!  That's what it's all about at Paper Issues.  Tags can be created out of about anything.  I created two sweet tags for this card from vintage Dennison Christmas stickers.

Yes, they were a little curly - but I solved that by sticking them to a piece of cardstock.  Then I punched a little hole - and voila! - a tag!  I got so lucky to find these stickers.  There are quite a few and they are all so cute!  You know me - can't pass up the vintage...

Tags are super easy, so come join us at Paper Issues and link up your "Tag, You're It" creation.  (Paper Issues is also giving away the new eBosser by Craftwell - don't  miss the opportunity to win that!)  And don't miss a visit to the Paper Issues store where when you find the goodies you can't live without, you can get 20% off by using the code chouxchoux at checkout.  Thanks for stopping by!

Most Wanted: Sheriff Doll

"Such a Doll" continues at AWNB this week.  Chris from CS Designs has created this darling sheriff art doll.  He comes with cowboy boots, hat and his sheriff star.

I decided he really wanted wide chaps and his own little hobby horse.

Come join us at Art With No Boundaries - can't wait to see all the other sheriff dolls!  So glad you stopped by...

Spider Trio for The Cutting Cafe

The other day when Dennis and I got home we couldn't believe the size of the spider on our back door.  HUGE daddy long legs!  Even though, it sort of (okay, I squealed like a little girl) freaked me out, I would not let Dennis kill it.  My philosphy is you stay away from me and I'll stay away from you.  I knew it would go on its way shortly.  And sure enough, in the time it took to get a drink (not because I had a sore throat from squealing, I assure you) it was gone.  Well, you don't have to worry about anything like that - Regina's spiders are cute!  They are from the Halloween Trio set, because everything comes sized in groups of three.  Very fun idea all for you at The Cutting Cafe.

The spiders made a darling Halloween tag - perfect to package up a Halloween treat.

The "eek" is from Halloween Mini Words and "Happy Halloween" is from Halloween This and That.  Regina will post Wednesday on The Cutting Cafe Blog all the Halloween inspiration and a giveaway, too!  Join me there!

Dancing in the Rain for The Cutting Cafe

Regina has a cute wellies cut file at The Cutting Cafe.  They remind me of my daughter,  Lauren, who runs around (dances?) in them when it's raining.

I can just see her twirling in the rain - when she was little and now, too!   I was happy to see those little flowers when I opened this file - they are so sweet.  Be sure to go to The Cutting Cafe blog to see more ideas using rainboots.  Next time is rains, think about dancing (or twirling) and see if it doesn't make you as happy as sunshine!

Funky Art Doll for AWNB

(If you are looking for the My Time Made Easy Post - scroll one post down.  Thanks!)

Meet the Funky Art Doll Template from Chris at CS Designs!  It's time for a new challenge at Art With No Boundaries.  The new theme is Such a Doll.

Isn't she cute?  I call my interpretation of the funky art doll "Moon Goes Trick or Treating."   I colored her face with copics and used the pattern to cut her out in various Halloween papers and created a trick or treat pumpkin to collect her candy.

I think she would make a darling Halloween ornament or tag!   Be sure to check the Art With No Boundaries blog for all the details on the new challenge and to see all the other fabulous art dolls!

Cute and Easy Boo Bags for My Time Made Easy

The new Boo Bags from My Time Made Easy are really cute!   They really did make my time easy - these went together fast!  So if you're looking for an easy, cute favor bag for Halloween this might just be it.

On the black bag, you can see  one of the new papers for September from the Hauntingly Homemade set.

To make the pumpkin bag I actually used the Perfect Pumpkin cut file (the face is from the Boo Bag) over the top of the Boo Bag. For the handle, I just snipped off the paper one and replaced it with a vintage olive green chenille stem.

Hope you've enjoyed the September Release from My Time Made Easy.  You can see it all in the New Products section of the store.  The whole team has goodies to share today, so go see them all!

Pumpkin Cards for My Time Made Easy

Today, I'm featuring all things pumpkin for My Time Made Easy.  I love, love, LOVE the new Perfect Pumpkin cut file!  It could be because I think pumpkins are adorable (and unlike watermelon, I love to eat pumpkin goodies)  and this file is perfect for creating PAPER pumpkin goodies!

First up, a couple of pumpkin cards - one embossed and one paper pieced.  The embossed one makes use of the pumpkin base and the pumpkin center.

The paper pieced one shows the pumpkin pieces of the cut file.  The papers are from  Dotted Stripes Collection One.  I kept the pieces pulled apart from each other a bit to show the tiniest bit of the underneath paper.

Up next, I'm thinking this would make a darling placecard for Thanksgiving.  I put my daughter's name on this one.  The tag base, yellow polka dot shield shape and flag were created with the new Hauntingly Homemade Labels Cut File.

To make the 3D pumpkin, I printed the new paper in a tiny format and reduced the Perfect Pumkpkin down to 35% it's actual size.  I used 1 flat pumpkin and 5 folded back to back.

Last, but not least, how about a pumpkin tag for one of those pumpkin goodies I love to eat?  I simply wrapped the yummy pumpkin bread in doilies and tied it up with twine.  After adding that sweet cut pumpkin, of course!  The paper is from  Poinsettias Collection One.  This tag is 50% of the actual size.  Be sure to check out everything in the new section at My Time Made Easy.

Well, I think I need to eat some pumpkin bread!  It smells soooo good!  But first, how about going with me to see what everyone else has made:
