Christmas Envelope Printable

Well, it's nice to have internet again!  Even though we've been without power, we're lucky because it's back on!  Some people here in Oklahoma are still without power - starting on their third day.

Electricity is so taken for granted, it's just a part of our lives.  I kept trying to turn on lights or look up something on the computer.  Hello - you can't do any of those things!  We are lucky that we have a gas heated fireplace in our library and a gas cooktop.  So at least we could stay warm and have a cup of tea!

I've got an easy-to-put-together Christmas envelope today.  You can download it below.  What's great is that the paper would also work for a birthday or a just because gift, too.

Just print, cut, score, fold, and glue.

I closed it with a little piece of washi.  It's perfect to slip in a gift card, a little note, and a small treat, too.  Perfect little stocking stuffer.

Download the envelope printable HERE.

It's almost time - join me for Visions of Sugarplums!  It begins on Sunday!  There will be a challenge:  get your Christmas/Winter projects ready to link...

Hope you have power where you are and that you have a wonderful week!

Those Pumpkins Again + Free Thanksgiving Image

Hi, there!  I can't wait for everyone to get here for Thanksgiving.  I just love the tradition and everyone gathered together.  We're a relatively small group - we're going to have 12 this year.  Soon it will be time to start brining the turkey.

I tell you it makes a huge difference to the moistness of the turkey.  I'm amazed at how  juicy it is.  Actually, I was never a big fan of turkey until we started brining it.  Now I really look forward to it.

You can see I'm having fun with these paper strip pumpkins again.  I'm using the ones from the previous post as our Thanksgiving table placecards.   What do you think about these in blue gingham?  Aren't they fun?

I have these sweet pilgrim children for you to download.  It's the entire postcard.  I just used a scallop die to cut out the kids.

You can download the pilgrim children HERE.

Mark your calendar!

It won't be long until Visions of Sugarplums.  You're going to love all the Christmas inspiration and giveaways!  Get ready for the Challenge - it will begin December 6th.  The theme will be Christmas/Winter.  Looking forward to seeing your creations!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Images for You

I've started making my lists for Thanksgiving.  Can't believe it's almost here!  I really love Thanksgiving.  Dennis and I take off the Wednesday before so we can start cooking.   We have a good time making our traditional recipes.   Sometimes Lauren and Paul arrive early and it's great to have them help too.

One of those traditional recipes I totally look forward to is Pecan Pie.  Oh, we make Pumpkin, too, but I have to say I always go for the Pecan.   I think I've mentioned before that the added secret ingredient is a little bit of maple syrup.  Pecan Pie Heaven!

Do you love this image as much I do?  I love her vivid color and I would so wear that gorgeous dress!  She is from my collection of vintage bridge tallies.  I first found the image from a store on Etsy then got lucky enough to snag the real thing from Puffadonna.  You can download her below.

I'm always on the lookout for vintage images.  Isn't this white turkey pretty?  (If you missed the post on how easy it is to make the pumpkin in the background, check it out HERE.)
I've got this white turkey for you to download, too.

You can download the pretty art deco bridge tally HERE.
The white turkey is available HERE.

It's also almost time for Visions of Sugarplums!  Mark your calendar for December 6th.

I'm looking forward to all the fun Christmas inspiration.  And I'm looking forward to seeing you here!

Thanksgiving Box Free Printable

Oh, my house smells so good right now!  It smells like gingerbread.   A gingerbread cake has been in the oven for about 15 minutes now.   I'm already tasting it!    You're all invited to have a piece.  My Thanksgiving box might not be quite big enough for a slice of cake, but how about some maple leaf cookies?  They would be a yummy surprise!

I love this image!  Love the subtle color, the couple and the pumpkins along the front of the house.

I paired it with a blue gingham and turned it into a printable box - you can download it (and the handle) below.

It's super easy to put together - all it takes is four scores and four cuts to make two tabs.
Then glue it!  Here's where the scores and cuts are:

I printed mine on 110 lb paper.  Wouldn't it make a pretty hostess gift or a treat for a friend?

You can download the Thanksgiving Box HERE and the Handle HERE.

Hope you're having a great week!  I'm off to get the gingerbread cake out of the oven - YUMMY!   I'll put on the kettle...

VIDEO: Make A Gusseted Bag with Flap

Do you love to give a little something to someone special?  This bag might work for you.  It's a great size - about 4" x 4 3/4".

This is the exact same bag as the previous post.    I just wanted to make another one decorated with this darling stamp set!  So fun to watercolor!

I love the cutie mice with this set - but I was totally sold when I saw this sentiment!  Why?  I can't exactly say - it just made me smile.

Here's the video:

Hope you've had a wonderful weekend - I was so looking forward to this one after a crazy-busy work week.  Can't believe it's practically gone.  It's been nice, now I've got to get ready for another crazy-busy week!
