The Complete Package for My Time Made Easy

Yesterday I showed you one of the new release templates from My Time Made Easy.  Today I get to show you the other new April template.  This one is called Card Coverup.  It's a darling container, which I've used to wrap up a set of fun monogram cards.

And look at that pretty paper!  It's from the second set of papers being released called Berry Burst. Here's a side view:

I made the flags for the monogram using the frame from the new Spring in Bloom stamp set.

I cut some old skewers that we had (hope Dennis doesn't want them for the charcoaler anytime soon), which made great flags.

Love this template and the pretty paper - love how it looks with the kraft.   We've got LOTS of fun today - the whole team is posting:

Can't wait to check out all their wonderful projects!   Today is the day that the April release is available, check out the new section at My Time Made Easy for all the new goodies!

My Time Made Easy - Com-pleatly Versatile (Preview Day 2)

New templates, new papers, new stamps, new cut files...Wow!  It's April (but seems kind of like Christmas with all the new goodies) release time at My Time Made Easy.  Okay, WOW again!!  I can't tell you, but hopefully I can show you,  how cool this template is - let me show you a side view:

It's three boxes (one large and two small) wrapped up in this cute pleated container.  See those triangles?  That's where the container makes a folded pleat to wrap itself around the boxes.  The stylish yellow and gray paper is just one of the new papers from the Spring Abound set.

Love that beautiful bracket frame and the oval stamp that perfectly fits along with the gorgeous butterfly...  I cut the Com-pleatly Template at about 75% its full size to better fit my gift.  So, what's inside?

The large box holds a wonderful button bracelet I made with some vintage buttons from my stash.  One of the small boxes hold matching button earrings.

And the other small box holds a tiny card to write a note to the recipient.

Oh, so sweet and fun to put together.  This template is awesome!  There is a lot more for you to see today, please visit these wonderful blogs:

Enjoy all the inspirational projects and visit the My Time Made Easy store on Sunday, April 1st, when all the April release will be available.  Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow for more!

Easter Basket for Craft Us Crazy

Sweet bunnies (or bears dressed as bunnies), eggs, baskets...love them all!  So, of course, I did an Easter basket for the new Craft Us Crazy challenge:  Altered Item or Anything But A Card.

The sponsor for this challenge is Meljen's Designs.  Be sure to check the Craft Us Crazy blog for the prize details.

The cute basket template is from Creations by AR.  The cute little bunny-suited bear is from the Spring Bunnies collection by SVGCuts.com

The eggs were fun to make - spray painted a primer on them first and them sprayed Vanilla on some and Catalina Mist on the others, then used a toothbrush to flick brown paint.  Surprisingly, they turned out really pretty!  And they can be filled with goodies, too...

The current challenge will run for two weeks with a prize up for grabs from Meljen Designs, so be sure to head over to the Craft Us Crazy blog.  You can also see the wonderful inspiration from the other DT members.   Can't believe Easter is just around the corner...

Kids Thank You at The Hybrid Chick

How was your weekend?  It was absolutely beautiful here.  Lots of sun, warm temperatures, but still cool enough to sleep great at night.  Monday is my day to post at The Hybrid Chick.  This time I put together a darling Kids Thank You Cards kit.  Super easy to do with the really cute digital kits from The Digi Chick.

The box holds lots of goodies for kids to put together their own cards.   All the pieces are held in chevron bags, so that they can be creative.  Here are a couple of the cards I put together using the elements in the Kids kit:

What a fun way for kids to say Thank You!  Check out The Hybrid Chick blog for all the supplies, more pictures and the directions for putting together this sweet little kit.

Happy Birthday, Mika! (and a winner)

Today was my friend, Mika's, birthday.  We had a little celebration this morning with a cinnamon pecan coffee cake I baked last night.  I've been working at Triangle for a little over three years, but my mom worked there for close to 30 years, so I've known Mika for a long time.  She even came to my aerobic classes back in the early 80s!  (I taught a dance aerobics class six hours a week - it was fun and I could eat whatever I wanted!)  Oh, those were the days...

This is the card we all signed for her.  That cute image is from Made by Janet - wait a minute, she changed her store name - I have to go see what is.  Okay, it's still Made by Janet - she's just added Digital Street to it.

This set has the most adorable little bakers!

Now to announce the winner of the Easter goodie basket from the Paper Issues blog hop post right before this one.  I did it the old fashioned way - wrote names on slips of paper and put them in a hat (well, a basket).  My husband had the honors of picking the slip of paper.  The winner is:

June, shoot me an email and I'll get your easter basket and goodies to you.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of your week!

Luck of the Irish

Hi, everyone!  Just had a wonderful weekend - my daughter and her husband were here.  Yesterday, we went to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art to see a collection from the Victoria and Albert Museum.  Wonderful pieces of art, jewelry, clothing, religious items...  Lauren and Paul left this morning - love it when they're here, hate it when they go...

We celebrated birthdays (Daddy and Dennis) and new jobs (Paul and Dennis).  We made those brownies I posted awhile back, but made them with vanilla frosting instead of mint.  Still very yummy!

Love this sweet vintage St. Pats postcard and the restaurant tab in the background.  It's still Go Green at Paper Issues.  Linking this card up at the blog.  Twenty percent off code at the Paper Issues store is chouxchoux.  Check out the goodies!

So glad you stopped by and have a wonderful week!

Going Green with St. Patricks Day!

Paper Issues has posted the new challenge:  Go Green or Go Home!  Your project could be St. Pats related, of course, or recycling, upcycling...as long as its paper it will work!

Picked up some shamrock cookie cutters at Michaels and decided they needed to be decorated, as we already have a shamrock cutter to use for cookies!

The sweet couple are a scanned image of an old Dennison label I was lucky to get into my hands!

The code to shop at the Paper Issues store and get a 20 percent discount is chouxchoux.  Cassie's got a lot of new things right now - might be a good time to put that discount to use!

Thanks for stopping by and luck of the Irish to you!

Spring: A Year in Review for My Time Made Easy

All the My Time Made Easy design team are posting today.  We are mixing something old with something new.  My something old is the template I used:  Bouncing Baby Buggy.  I know, it doesn't look much like a baby buggy here - that just shows you how Lauren's templates can be used in many different ways.

My something new are the pretty papers on the basket.  These are from the Spreading Spring Cheer set.

When I was at Michaels the other day, I picked up a couple of these gold Lindt chocolate bunnies - they are so cute!  I've been on the look out for mini ones, but haven't seen any around here.   This one looks right at home in his pretty spring basket.

Here are the links to rest of the Year in Review creations:

My Time Made Easy Post Release

I love the sweet little bunny from the new My Time Made Easy Spring is Here set.  I kept the bunny white as before but changed it from brown to pink and this project is completely different in feel.  I made a pretty card using a label from the Round Off set and embossed a kraft circle to go with it.

I just love Easter Eggs!  When I use vinegar in something it always takes me back to dying easter eggs with my mom.   For the egg display, I painted a plastic egg to look like its more expensive cousin!

The March release is available in the new projects section of the store now.

Love how the goodies from My Time Made Easy are so versatile and fit in with so many styles!  Be sure to go by these  blogs for more fun projects:

Happy Weekend to you!
