Girl + Black Kitty + Sweetness!

You know I'm partial to black cats.  My little guy is black with green eyes and he's been with me for 15 years.  He adopted us (in spite of my husband saying "NO") and I'm so glad he did!

I fell in love with this card as soon as I saw it at the flea market.  Couldn't wait to do a little something with it.

You can download this sweet girl with all her kitties below.

The Easter/Spring Challenge is getting ready to close.  Thank you for linking up such wonderful projects!  I've enjoyed visiting your blogs.  Hope you've had a wonderful Easter!

Bunnies! + Free SVG

Need a really cute, really quick decoration or mini card for Easter?  Here's the answer:  Bunnies!  These bunnies are super quick  - especially if you download the SVG file.

This bunny is super versatile - yes,  it makes a cute standing decoration for your Easter table or baskets (or maybe your desk at work).   Just add a lollipop stick and...

you've got a darling cupcake topper!  Would you like to create the sweetest mini cards?

They're perfect for that too!  Just stamp an Easter greeting inside.

1.  For all three projects, you'll need 2 bunnies.  They need to be facing opposite directions so that you have a front bunny and a back bunny.  Mix them up using different patterns on the front and back.

2.  Also for all three projects, glue the front and back bunnies together only at the head.  Stop the glue at the neck.   To make the bunnies stand, just spread the bottoms out a little.

3.  For the cupcake topper, just add a lollipop stick (or straw).  I just used a little tape to hold it in place.

To download the bunny svg file, click HERE.

To download the bunny printable templates (one each direction), click HERE.

By the way, this is my first SVG.  Cool!  I'm thinking a darling banner made with these bunnies...maybe next year!

My 5th challenge is on - but it's quick - you have to link up by March 27th!  See all the info HERE or just scroll down one post.

Have a wonderful Easter!

Easter Card Parade + Sweet Easter Image for You

Hi there! I was just thinking about Easter Parades.  Have you ever seen one?  Or did it just mean everyone walking to church on Easter Sunday?  I guess the new Easter hats would make it festive like a parade.  Well, I guess I've got a parade of Easter cards!  I love all of these images - definitely hit the cute and sweet.  I've got the little chick in a hat for you to download and links to the others in the supplies below.

First up is the little drummer leading the way.  He'd be kind of great for a birthday or baby card, too.

Hoppin' along is this sweet little bunny carrying an egg as big as he is!  I used my Envelope Punch Board to make the indentions on the sides and bottom of the card.

Bringing up the rear of the parade is the cute chick in her awesome new Easter hat - I think she may have new shoes, too!

You can download the Easter Chick HERE.

The winner of the St. Patrick's Day/Green Challenge was Annie Sharland!  Annie was picked by Inlinkz by random selection and won a $20.00 gift certificate to Papertrey Ink!

Another Challenge will be live on Sunday!!!
It will be quick - only open for one week.  The challenge will be EASTER.  Get ready to link up your fabulous Easter creations!

So glad you came by and I'm looking forward to seeing all the link ups - it will be like our own Easter Parade!

Easter Card with Copics + Micro Fine Glitter Video

It is a gloomy day here today.  But I have to say I harbor a love for gloomy days!  I associate them with curling up with a good book (always when I was young) and now certainly the good book and also creating!  So I don't mind a gloomy day one little bit.

There isn't one thing gloomy about this card, however.  It makes me think of spring and makes me feel bright!  I have to say it was super hard to photograph, especially with the gloominess outside.  I wanted you to see the beautiful Cool Highlights of the micro fine glitter.  I guess you're going to have to trust me on this - the glitter is gorgeous!  I can see it in the large version of my pictures in Photoshop, but not so much here.  Oh, well....

I do have a video showing this cool technique of coloring with markers on top of the micro fine glitter.  You can see the glitter a little bit more in the video. You can watch it here:

I had  a lot of fun with this card - it hits a lot of my buttons:  bunnies, coloring, gingham, cool dies...
Just three more days to link up for the current challenge.  The prize is a $20.00 gift certificate from Papertrey Ink.  You can find the challenge HERE.

So what do you think about gloomy days?   Kind of cool that you can fill them with such fun things to do!

So glad you stopped by today!
