Hope everyone's having a wonderful Mother's Day. Yesterday, Linda (Lauren's mother-in-law) treated Mom and I to high tea at A Spot of Tea. The food and conversation were wonderful! I made my mom a soldered bookmark for her Mother's Day gift.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz9avywv0URZRGHn0455qHabTd5ts8cZLBy8BkwbgX62PM9dSAjpqlddQ_qp54rt5IR4MsDPGyCavcZToUDE6CVMdbe7AwD8y__C_0bHd4-U9Pzd3T1111gbrxJxP2o04aUS0N3oUVW6A/s320/IMG_0451.JPG)
I love the silhouette of the lady reading a book. It has Mom's initial on the back (which I forgot to photograph). Then I packed it in this darling birdhouse gift box, which I actually think I posted awhile back. I love that I get to see my mom (and Daddy, too) a lot more now. We try to have lunch at least once a week since they've retired. I didn't know that would be one of the perks with them retired and me changing jobs!
