Father's Day/Masculine Colors at Craft Us Crazy

New challenge time at Craft Us Crazy:  time to think of the men in our lives!  Our sponsor for the first week is Laurettas Digital Stamps.
Check out Craft Us Crazy for all the prize details...
I created a Father's Day tin using a Macanudo Exquisite Cigar tin.  I found an entire box of these at a local antique store - I just love them!  I used papers from Bo Bunny and the banner was made with a die from Papertrey Ink.
The inside has what I call a "Postcard Card" - meaning that it doesn't open, it just has a front and a back.
Also, inside CHOCOLATE (and how about a gift card?)!
All of that will fit comfortably inside.  Just curious, what do you call your dad?  I call mine Daddy, just like when I was little.  I LOVE my daddy very much...

Go to the Craft Us Crazy blog to see the other DT creations and get inspired!

  1. Wonderful job on the box, but you know the chocolate will be a hit. I called my dad "Dad". Great job.

  2. Another clever idea.. I try to avoid masculine card.. I'm just not that good at them.. But your rocks..

I just call my dad (Dad).

  3. Great card--very Sir Walter Scott. Did you know that when Paul talks about his dad, he usually just calls him by his first name? I never go around saying "Dennis this" or "Dennis that"! It feels weird even typing it!

  5. Wow Lori, I've been MIA for a few weeks (enjoying our holiday) and look what you've been creating lately! Awesome, stunning projects, all of them (as usual I must say :-) Love this box, it's so cool! I always called my dad "papa", I miss him every day, wish I could still call him that... Take care, Ira
