What Should a Mom Do?

If you're a mom, you've probably asked yourself more than once what is the best thing to do or say.  Lauren and I have had a LOT of this type of conversation since Louisa was born.

I told her that sometimes you just don't know and you just have to do your best.  Sometimes you'll be right and sometimes you'll be wrong.

Don't you think as long as you keep what's best for the child in mind, that everything will turn out okay?

Lauren and I have talked a lot about decisions coming from love.  That children need a framework of discipline until they can self-discipline.  A mom has to be strong, because sometimes it would just be easier let a child do whatever she wants to do.

Well, that was a little serious.  Let's pivot to cuteness and happiness.  A lot of being a mom is joy.  Lauren was so cute when she said, "If I'd known she would be so sweet, I would have done this a lot sooner!"

Talk about cute and sweet!  This is Louisa from my last visit.  I arrived very late on a Wednesday, so she was already asleep.  This is what greeted me early Thursday morning.  Can't be beat, right?   It is great being a mom, but being Grandma is amazing!

Rosebud is cute and sweet, too!  I love her cute cap and yellow striped dress and blue bows.  I've used her before (you can see that project HERE).  It has some similarities to this card, so I guess I cased myself!

I've got her ready download along with mom and friend sentiments.  She makes a sweet friend card, too!

You can download Rosebud HERE.

So glad you stopped by!   Have a wonderful week....

Easter Cuteness

You know that cute and sweet makes me happy.  So I'm in happy heaven over these two Easter projects!

Agnes Richardson always hits the sweet spot and this little girl with the ducks is no exception.  I've added some felt flowers and a cute bunny as adornment.

If you thinks she's cute and sweet, you can download her below.

Felt always makes me happy.  (Well, unless it's something that just is not turning out right, but let's not dwell on that.)  I love this Easter Egg Pocket.

The die does make it super simple, because the holes for sewing are cut right along with the egg shape. I cut two and then pinked the light green piece to make the pocket.  I wrapped two kit kat bars to slip inside.

Isn't that bunny fun?  Love the top hat and pink ribbon around his neck.  You can also download him below for a fun Easter project.

How about some more adorableness?  Here's Louisa in bunny ears - now that's cute and sweet!  She'll be five months old at the end of the month.  Time is flying!

You can download Agnes Richardson Girl with Ducks HERE.

You can download Bunny in Top Hat HERE.

Dropbox seems to work differently for different people.  Either right click and save when image appears or click the download button in the top right corner.  If neither method works, email me and I'll send the files to you.

Hope you've found some time to create some Easter cuteness!  So glad you stopped by!

Cutie Pierrot Birthday + Free Image

I really love creating birthday cards and it's so nice to be asked to create a card for someone else's special somebody.  This birthday card is for Gail from her husband, Kirby.

I like that my card will carry a special birthday message for Gail.  This sweet little Pierrot is another vintage Agnes Richardson.  I think she's perfect to wish someone a special happy birthday.  Look at all the presents she's carrying!

Would you like to send a special somebody a special birthday card?  You can download the Agnes Richardson Pierrot HERE.

Hope you're having a lovely week!
