Whoo's Lucky? Printable Tags and Image!

"What are you working on?"  my husband asked.  "A St. Patrick's Day owl."  "A what??"  I know it does sound a little odd.   But I was determined.   My owl is totally inspired by these owls by Rachel Tessman.  She made hers with ready made cards from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Kit.   So cute!

For mine, I used a strip of 4" by 10 1/2" paper folded in half.   I used circle dies to cut the top and the belly piece on each side for the wings.  The beak is a one inch square cut into a triangle.

The tags are available as a download below.

I love this vintage placecard!   I was lucky to get one of them.  I found it at one of my favorite etsy shops:  Puffadonna.    She's not necessarily St. Patricks, which is kind of great - that way I can use her for something else, too.  I think this is perfect as a little something for a friend.

If you would like to see how to make the felt shamrock, check out this post from last year.

You can download the placecard and sentiment below.
