Dance on the Breeze

"Let's go fly a kite.....All at once you're lighter than air.  You can dance on the breeze over houses and trees..."  You might recognize the lyrics from Let's Go Fly a Kite from Disney's Mary Poppins.  It's the song sung at the end when Mr. Banks has figured out that his family is more important than anything.  I just love the phrase "Dance on the Breeze."   So I've made a couple of cards (and a free printable) with that sentiment.

First up is this adorable vintage image of two kids and their pup flying a kite.  Perfect for the song, right?

I just got this adorable bunny stamp and with the balloons, he finds himself dancing on the breeze.  So sweet and so fun to color!

I created a no line (well almost no line) image by inking the images with melon and gently stamping the ink off with the first impression and then firmly pressing down to create a second lighter image to color.

The clouds were created by cutting a scallop image freehand and then sponging on Tumbled Glass distress ink - just moving the clouds up the paper and moving the clouds right or left so they wouldn't be stacked up.

The sentiment is available to download  in two different styles and 2 colors.  On this one, I printed it off and punched the end for a little bit of fanciness.

You can download the kids below.  They come in the original vintage background and also with a white background.

Download the Dance on the Breeze printable (kids and sentiments) HERE.

Hope you've had a lovely weekend and hope you have a lovely week, too!  If things get you down, think about Mr. Banks and dance on the breeze!
