Speaking of lovely - I've always loved this birdcage lady stamp. It was one of the first stamps I bought. I used her to create a birthday card awhile back and this color scheme just seemed to work perfectly for her. I changed the sentiment to Hello and had a perfect everyday card.
The stone and white combination does make a lovely serene card.
I've had this Christmas village scene hanging around for several years. A guy here locally has a great selection of old postcards and I picked this up a long time ago. I finally figured out what to do with it!
Framed it up with snowflakes. Added some stone colored snowflakes here and there.
Hard to see, but there is lots of soft, pretty glitter and I added "snow" to a couple of roofs and embossed snowflakes in the sky.
Yes, you may have already figured out, this is what I call an outside in card. The image would normally be on the outside, but it's actually inside.

These shabby cards are so sweet and pretty, love both, and especially like the second one, with the village framed by snowflakes: such a dreaming scene you have created with this beautiful image!! Love all the sparkling added and that gorgous bow with the big snowflake!

These cards are so beautiful! Perfect use for the snowy village scene. I have learned so much from you. One big thank you is Papertrey Ink. Love them! Also to be able to buy digital paper. And I love my Artisan printer you recommended.

Oh my I just love your village scene and how you have framed it with the wreath of lovely snowflakes and the pretty embossing of the snow coming down, just beautiful!!
