Tie-riffic Dad for The Cutting Cafe
It's getting close to Father's Day. The Cutting Cafe has several "tie-riffic" sets to create great Father's Day cards. I used the cut files from the Shirt and Tie set and the sentiments from For My Tie-riffic Dad stamp set.
I'm so lucky that I have a tie-riffic dad! My dad is so lucky that he doesn't have to wear a tie anymore. My parents make retirement look good.
Thanks for stopping by to visit and be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe blog. Check it often to take advantage of all the special offers and on Wednesday to see all the other "tie-riffic" projects!

Have a Happy Day!
Hope you are having a happy day! In spite of having major storm damage last week and dealing with insurance adjustors, etc... I'm having a happy day (couple of days)! We went to a 17th century French art exhibit last night which is on loan from The National Gallery. It was wonderful... I'm having fun today coming up with some July 4th creations and just got back from taking a load to Goodwill. I need to stay focused and sort and take more... (As you can see, that is not happening.)
I have a sweet, simple card to share with you today. The darling children image and papers are from Iralamija's shop of goodies. I'm going to continue my happy day with fun creations (my sweet kitty-boy is keeping me company) and hope you're having a happy day, too!

Pocket Full of Posies for The Cutting Cafe
This pocket is full of posies (and maybe some other goodies, too)! This week the DT is showcasing pockets at The Cutting Cafe. Both Sending You A Pocket Full of Wishes and the Pocket Shaped Card set are full of darling images and you get two different shaped pockets in the cut file!
I used the side pocket as a pattern to cut the denim and then used yellow thread to sew it together.
Tried to make it look somewhat like a real jean's pocket. The cute image I used has a tag in the pocket, so I did the same.
I glued the flowers to the top of the decorative paper so that it made a pocket - perfect for a gift card. The loopy bow is attached to the pocket with a small clothespin.
Regina will have all the pocket creations on the The Cutting Cafe blog tomorrow and she almost always has some kind of special or giveaway. Be sure to check it out!

Art With No Boundaries New Challenge
It's time for a new challenge at Art With No Boundaries. Anything Goes/Heavy Metal Challenge runs from June 4th through June 18th. You may recognize this image by CS Designs from my post for Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent. It was great fun to make her look totally different!
This is a cool three layer card. The first layer is a frame to showcase Metal and Screws pretty face.
When the frame is lifted, she is revealed completely.
The last layer includes a sentiment from CS Designs and space to write a note to the recipient.
Hope you'll join us for the Anything Goes/Heavy Metal challenge. You can see the other DTs wonderful creations at the Art With No Boundaries blog. I can't wait to see them!

My Time Made Easy: 1 Day S'more
It's the last day for the June release at My Time Made Easy. This time it's a cute little s'more treat box using something old and something new.
The something old is the Wonderfully Wrapped box template. Love this box! I sized this one at 75% is original size. Just perfect to slip in two s'mores on a stick.
The something new is the marshmallow stamp and sentiment from the So Much S'more stamp set and the Smore Smores paper. You can find the entire June release here.

My Time Made Easy: Happy Camper
I'm a happy camper! I've been busily creating and enjoying every minute. Welcome to the third day of fun creations showcasing the June release at My Time Made Easy. I think the saying "Happy Camper" is wonderfully adaptable to a set of thank you cards. I had in mind some sweet little cards that would be ideal for kids to give.
I used the new stamp set Let's Go Camping for the sentiment and Wonderful Woodland Creatures, an older stamp set for the sweet racoon and deer. That darling card shape is really easy to do when you use Creative Card/Envelope 1. Here's the envelope:
I used the Let's Go Camping stamp set to create the sentiment for the inside (just put "I'm a" in front):
Of course, the thank yous and envelopes need a cute place to live until they're sent out. The new Paper Bag cut file took care of that. I made it just a teeny bit bigger to fit the envelopes and 4 sets of thank yous fit perfectly inside.
The June release is available in the new section - wonderful templates, papers, stamps, and cut files! Be sure to check out the other DTs creations. I can't wait to see them!

Release Day: My Time Made Easy
It's release day at My Time Made Easy. You can find all the June goodies in the new section at the store. Today, I'm showcasing the Trendy Turtle template. Isn't this a darling gift box? I have to say that shell is way cool!
I don't think I could have figured out the design for this, but it goes together beautifully! I mentioned yesterday that I love the blue gingham. I think it made a darling turtle!
I thought he would look smashing in a party hat (of course, he wanted to look festive to carry his treat) and a red ribbon. The final touch was a little tag to tell what he's all about...
I used the Well Rounded Tag cut file and Yummy Sentiments stamp set.
And he does have a yummy treat! The whole crew has wonderful June creations for you today. Be sure to take a look:
