Tiny Tab Box w/ Monogram Tags

Okay, I'm going to make a confession.  I'm one of those people that love little boxes.  I have no idea why I'm drawn to little boxes, but if there's one in an antique store, I'm going to find it!  So this little box speaks to the little box lover in me.  Isn't it darling?  You can find the Tiny Tucker Tab cut file at  My Time Made Easy.  It was just released yesterday!

Then I had fun thinking about what might be found when the tiny tab is untucked.  See how the little tab tucks into the a slit in the bottom of the box?   I decided that I wanted to find monogram tags tucked inside.

How many things can you think of that someone could do with these tags?  Here are some I thought of:  gift tag (of course), gift enclosure, pop one on top of a white card base for a clean and simple monogram card,

tie one around a jar for a quick and easy gift,

and how about laminating one after writing info on the back as a luggage tag?  What other things have you thought of?

So....What Is It?

Yesterday, I asked you "what is it?"   If you commented you were in the running for winning a free template of your choice from My Time Made Easy - that's pretty cool!   And I was wrong - the winner is announced tomorrow, May 2nd, not today!  So sorry for messing that up!  So be sure to check back tomorrow...

Of course, most of you were spot on - no fooling any of you!  It is a grill - complete with side burners (well, I just put a burner on one side - didn't want to burn the mustard and ketchup!).   

It is so cute and I certainly think it's perfect for Father's Day!  The sentiment is from Dad's Day to Relax digital stamp set.  The stars are cut with Magical Birthday Wishes cut file.  The banner paper is from Picnic of Patterns.

I added the condiments by coloring two images - making one the front and the other one the back and then gluing two pieces of paper between the front and back that are about a half inch longer than the condiments.  I put a small slit in the tray, inserted the condiments and glued the ends under the tray.  The condiment bottle and hot dog are from the new digital stamp set It's Grillin' Time.   Want to see the grill open?

Special Friend Blend for Paper Sweeties

I drink soooo much tea - there's no doubt I have English ancestors.   I have tea in the morning and another cup of hot tea in the afternoon when I get home (even if it's 100 degrees outside)!  I like figuring out ways to wrap up one of my favorite things to give as a little thank you to my favorite people.  It seems that lots of my friends like tea almost as much as me!

I created a pillowbox using Paper Sweeties May Sketch as a guide.  Here's the sketch:

I went right to the Tea for Two stamp set for the large center shape and sentiment - love the teapot!

The sentiment is from the same set.  The tea bag is actually made from the bottom of a Mary Engelbreit cupcake wrapper!  Of course, I couldn't stop there - I had to put tea inside!  

The tea bags are wrapped with a manilla shipping tag tied with twine and stamped with images from I'm Having a Tea Party.

Whooo's Choux Box

Great Scott(y)!

One of the nicest people ever called Wednesday and asked me to make a birthday card for her friend who loves Scotty dogs.  That nice person would be Debbie from Ancient of Days Antique Store right here in OKC.  She talks people into buying my goodies along with their antique goodies!  

This little Scotty is part of a vintage valentine that I'm pretty sure I picked up at Ancient of Days.  As soon as Debbie told me what she wanted, I knew I had the perfect thing!  I even dug out a circle stamp that is from one of the first sets of stamps I ever bought - I believe it's a now retired set from Stampin' Up.
