Baby Dress Banner

For this week's inspiration at The Cutting Cafe, we're using either the Dress Shape Invite Card Set or Dress Shaped Card 2.
I used the Dress Shaped Card 2 to make this baby girl banner.   I cut the dress shape four times with my Cricut.  I went around the edges with Fiskars scalloped scissors.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.  The letters were cut using Cricut cartridge Cindy Loo.  Added that lovely seam binding ribbon and vintage buttons.
The dresses are attached using mini clothespins adorned with either a butterfly or a pink pearl.

Check The Cutting Cafe blog for all the inspiration (it will be posted later in the week) and for giveaways, specials, and challenges.   I can't believe it's already time to start a new week (and a new month)!  Time is going so fast - I'm not sure where the weekend went - or for that matter the whole month of July!   Enjoy your week...

  16. The embossing is so cool. Speaking of baby dresses, I need to try to find an adult-sized version of those embroidered sundresses (and peasant tops) we used to get at that Mexican imports store in Mayfair. I've been seeing them on blogs lately and they would be perfect for the heat!
