Marsha's Fairies #3

Happy New Year!   Did you have a big New Year's Eve?  I can say that we did not!  I was sound asleep at midnight when I awoke to gunfire.  I'm sure you've already figured out that what I was really hearing was fireworks.  But, to my sleepy mind it was gunfire.  Dennis hadn't been feeling well, so I don't think he appreciated it when I woke him up to hear it, too!

Awhile back, I shared two other fairy cards for my cousin, Marsha.  This cute zinnia fairy image came from Curious Crow Creative.  The cool thing is that there is a flower fairy for every letter of the alphabet!  A little bit of the vintage crochet lace I picked up at the Paramount in Wichita is peeking out.

Happy New Year to you and thank you for stopping by!

  4. Love Paramount Antique Mall! Since fireworks aren't illegal in city limits here in Wichita, I'm afraid to go to bed early on New Year's Eve in case one of our neighbors catches our house on fire...

  13. You had me laughing uncontrollably with your post Lori! Gunfire...LOL...funny you mentioned Wichita and gunfire in the same post. I used to live there and it usually was that on New Year's Eve. Ha!
Your card is AMAZING and beautifully coordinated with the background papers.
Always a real pleasure to visit your blog.

  14. I live out East so gun shots in Oklahoma City sounds reasonable to me!!! Course I am a hillbilly and live back in the mountains of North Carolina and I hear gun shots frequently during hunting season. Your card is gorgeous - I love it and certainly will take a peek at these flower fairies. So sweet.
Happy New Year gun fire and all!
