Chinese Take Out for AWNB

We are continuing our Asian theme at Art With No Boundaries.  Just look at these gorgeous dominoes created by Chris at CS Designs.  I used one of the traditional Geishas (on the left) and a Harajuku Girl (on the right).

I created a gift set using a clear takeout box and a pretty drink umbrella we've had in a kitchen drawer for about 20 years!   I made some paper fortune cookies to slip inside.

We hope you'll join us at Art With No Boundaries.  You'll see the DTs wonderful projects and these pretty new images!  So glad you stopped by...

  1. The colouration of these images is amazing. I love how vibrant the colours are and the contrast with the black really emphasizes the detail on them. Awesome fortune fun! Clever use of a take-out container to house them and showcase the domino images.

  2. You really just create the most awesome creations Lori! Wow, what else can I say? Your fortune cookies are amazing as are the geisha girls!!

  3. They look amazing. And so do the Fortune cookies. Once again you have inspired me.

  4. Really neat idea with the paper fortune cookie container. I love how you used the turquoise, black, red, and white to showcase these dominoes.

  5. i love the way you have coloured these images. Such lovely vibrant colours. The fortune cookies look gorgeus too.

  6. Saw your dominoes on Make it Monday and I love them. Great choice of images and colors. So glad I took a look.

  7. Always amazed when your focal project is beyond words, but then you go the extra mile and add just a bit more to seal the deal and make it even better. Love your clear takeout box Lori and the dominoes are sensational, but the fortune cookies too...AWESOME!!!

    Hugs to you,
    Lisa xxx
