Visions of Sugarplums 2013 Day 3

Hello again!  It's  the third day of Visions of Sugarplums!  Hope you're enjoying all the fun projects.  I've so enjoyed getting to see what everyone has been creating.  Let's start by announcing day two winners:

Day Two Winners
bearsmother - $10 to Paper Sweeties
scrappymo - $20 to Nicecrane Designs
Jeannette DeJesus - Digital Set of choice from Vintage Bella
cghundley - set of choice from Moonlighting by Mary

The first couple of projects up today feature lovely images from Iralamija shop.  I love visiting Beaty's shop - there is always something I want!  This box is made with images from Christmas Jar Collage.

I also made some tags using those oh, so pretty jars.  I printed the jars I used for the box a little larger to make sure there was room for the tags.

How about these vintage image Santa Christmas envelopes?

So very easy to put together - perfect for a gift card or little treat!

Giveaway #1
Beatrice from Iralamija Shop is offering a lucky reader one set of your choice!  Just comment on this post for a chance to win.

This is the third day of the new December Release at Paper Sweeties.  I heat embossed the snowflakes from Thanks Snow Much.  The sentiment is from Homespun Holidays.  I think I'm going to use this to write a special note to someone special.  You know, the kind of note that you keep and love coming across in later years.   I LOVE this little angel!  I just think she's adorable.  You may remember her from the muslin bag I posted earlier.

She is from Make the Season Bright.  Visit the Paper Sweeties Blog to see more ideas for Christmas stamps!

Giveaway #2
Debbie from Paper Sweeties of giving away a $10 certificate!  Just say you want to win in your comment on this post!

Giveaway #4

Visions of Sugarplums Day Two

Welcome to the second day of Visions of Sugarplums! (If you're looking for MTME, scroll down one post.)   Hope you were able to make it to all the blogs yesterday.  I enjoyed every post!

First, let's announce the winners of yesterday's giveaways:

3 sets of choice from The Cutting Cafe:  Sharla
1 set of choice from Moonlighting by Mary:  butlersabroad
1 set of choice from Paper Sweeties:  Butterfly

Congratulations to the winners (email me lhairston@cox.net  and we'll get your prizes to you) and a big thank you to Regina, Mary, and Debbie for their generosity!

I mentioned yesterday about loving vintage goodies.  It's just not Christmas without the "old stuff" - you know what I mean?  So I tend to gravitate to vintage looking "new stuff" too.  One of my regular etsy stops is Beatriz's Iralamija shop.  Her images are perfect for me - I love creating with them!

These santas are adorable!

For our first giveaway, Beatriz is giving one set of your choice from her shop.  She has lots of  Christmas goodies and other wonderful images, too!  Go see!

Our second giveaway is 1 set of choice from Moonlighting by Mary.  (I showed a banner using her images yesterday.  If you missed it, click here.)

Our third giveaway is 1 set of your choice from Paper Sweeties.  (Darling stamps!)

Last year, I lucked upon a bunch of Viewmaster Pockets with the reels inside.  I just love them!  I especially love them for gift card holders or to tuck a little note into.  This year I made gift card holders for Christmas with oh, so cute reindeer:

Aren't these fun?

My giveaway is growing!  You get everything to make one reindeer viewmaster gift card pocket!  In addition to what I showed yesterday, you will also get:

The santa dot to dot book is adorable!  Someone has done a couple of them, but it is still the cutest!  I lucked upon a couple, so I can manage to give one up!  There's also a couple of vintage bingo cards, a Dennison diecut reindeer (wonderful!) and a new stamp from Impress.

How do you win the giveaways?  Comment!  Leave a comment here and on all the participating blogs.  Every comment counts as an entry. (Keep commenting - if you didn't win yet, every comment counts.  If you did win, you might win again!)  My prize will continue to grow each day and the winner will be announced Saturday, Dec. 8th.

Here are Tuesday's blogs to visit for Christmas Cheer:

Can't wait to visit and see all the wonderful ideas - join me!  See you tomorrow for Day Three of Visions of Sugarplums!

Visions of Sugarplums - Day Three

Thank you so much for joining us for Day Three of Visions of Sugarplums!  Hope you've been checking out all the blogs and enjoying the posts. The fun continues...

On Monday, I showed part of my giveaway and it includes two viewmaster pockets.   I decided they would make darling gift card holders.
They are the perfect size, they are already a pocket all you have to do is add some fun embellishments.
I'm going to leave the reel in mine and just slip in a gift card.  Cute, huh?

Regina, who hosted our giveaway yesterday (winner below), has some awesome Christmas pockets at The Cutting Cafe.  One is a mitten pocket, which I've used to create another gift card holder.  I have to tell you -  I like gift cards!  I like to get them and I like to give them.  But, I want to give them in some really cute packaging.

I added the pretty mitten paper behind the cutout, along with some felt for cuffs.

I aso added a coin envelope with  a Dennison label, because I wanted to put a little note in this one.

This last gift card pocket is made from digital images from Iralamija's Shop.  Love her vintage image collages.  I check quite often to see if she's put something new in her store.

I printed and sewed two images to make the pocket and enlarged a flashcard to make the tag.   Beatriz Jennings of Iralamija's Shop is hosting our giveaway today!  She is giving away two digital collages of the winner's choice.   All of today's comments left here and on today's participating blogs count as an entry to win the two digital collages.  Thank you, Beatriz!

The winner of The Cutting Cafe's Christmas treat boxes and three sets of your choice is:

Karel!   Karel, email me (address in right side bar) and we'll get you your prize!
My giveaway winner will be posted on Friday.  Check out the past two posts for the contents.  Today, I'm adding red crinkle ribbon to the stash.  Remember all comments left here and on participating blogs count as an entry.

Linda is also posting today.   She calls her blog My Happy Place and it certainly is!  I love visiting her blog, not only is she very creative showing fabulous projects, she also displays the most wonderful photography.  Mika is sharing her third (actually 4th) recipe today.  The others have wetted my tastebuds - can't wait to find out what she's showing now.  And Jennifer will share more family traditions - have so enjoyed reading about and seeing pictures of her family.     Visit them all!
