I'm Bananas Over You!

I think it's already spring here - 68 today and 75 tomorrow!  I just hope it's not summer next week!  You know I love cold weather and we didn't have much this year.  LOVE sweaters and jackets...look kind of funny in those when it's 107 outside...

This little packet is the prototype for a friend's nephew's party - with a monkey theme, of course!  The monkey and banana are part of the Create a Critter cartridge from Cricut.   The invitation is on the cloud paper and it slips inside the tiny kraft bag.

Well, I need to go cut out some more monkeys!  Hope your week has been good so far...

A Santa Fe Wedding

What a crazy weekend weatherwise! First day of spring and we have 24 hours of snow! That's Oklahoma for you... 70s on Friday and 20s on Saturday!

These are the invitations I designed for a Santa Fe wedding. Suzanne and Al got married last weekend at the Loretto Chapel. My mom and Mika (a co-worker and friend) helped me make 50 invitations with response cards and 60 programs. (I forgot to take pictures of the programs, drat!) The inside of the invite included a gorgeous picture of the chapel and the setting sun. I also made Suzanne's wedding guest book. She really didn't have colors for the wedding, but she did say she was carrying ivory and burnt orange flowers, so I went with that. I also wanted to use some elements from the invitation.

Suzanne was thrilled with the response to the wedding invitations and in turn, so was I! Congratulations, Suzanne and Al!
