St. Pat's Irish Girl Printable

Let's stay with the Irish ancestry again this week.  Mom just swabbed the inside of her cheeks and sent off her kit last week.  Will be so interesting to find out what it shows, besides Irish.  Now that Mom's is on its way, I really want Lauren, Louisa and I to get our DNA ancestry done, too!  Just would be so cool...

This cutie works perfectly as a wee bit o' Irish for your St.Pat's cards.

She's actually part of a valentine card, so I did some work to the image, so I could have just the girl to create my St. Pat's card.  The download has the valentine card, too - just in case you want it.

Download St.Pat's Irish Girl HERE.

Dropbox seems to work differently for different people.  Either right click and save when image appears or click the download button in the top right corner.  If neither method works, email me and I'll send the files to you.

Wherever you go and whatever you do
may the luck of the Irish
be there with you!

St.Patrick's Day Cards + Free Darling Image+Challenge #4

How are you?  I've seen Lauren twice in one week (they stopped last week on their way to New Orleans and stopped again on their way back), so I'm feeling pretty lucky!   I hope you're feeling as lucky as me!

I've got a couple of St.Patrick's Day cards to share today.  I just finished all the pre-orders for St. Patrick's Day this weekend and will be mailing and delivering them next week.

I really like the look of this shamrock.  At first, I wasn't sure about all the different green hues, but I decided to go with it.  I just gathered old papers that I've always liked and cut hearts.

What really makes this shamrock cool, is the folding and rolling of the hearts, which adds a lovely layer.
I used a heart die, but if you don't have one, I've got a pattern for you below.

If you would like a pattern for the hearts and stem, you can get it HERE.

Oh, she makes me smile!  She's so sweet collecting Shamrocks in her apron.

If you would like to create a little something with this darling girl, you can download her HERE.

How about a new challenge?

Link up any project related to St. Patrick's Day or has the color green.  Link up by March 16th.  One winner is chosen by random selection by InLinkz.  Prize is a $20.00 gift certificate to Papertrey Ink!

St. Pat's Easy Muslin Bag

Looking for something easy, but really cute for St. Patrick's Day?   This muslin bag may just fit the bill (or chocolate coin)...

It seems that muslin bags are just adorable all by themselves.  Dress them up a little and they are about as cute as they can be!

You just need a few supplies:

You'll also need your favorite St. Patrick's Day stamps.  I used  Lucky You from Verve Stamps.

I inked the stamps with the dark green ink first and lightly stamped it on a piece of paper to get rid of some of the ink.  Then I inked the stamps again with the lighter green.  The bow is hand sewn in place (don't sew it to the back layer!).

Now, just add chocolate coins for a fun, tasty St. Patrick's Day treat!

Hope you have the luck of the Irish this week!

Top O' the Morning to You!

Top O' the Morning to You and a little chocolate, too!  Pretending to be Irish is even more fun with chocolate involved!

You may remember last month's Valentine Kiss Countdown.  I found that Qbees Quest has another wonderful idea for Kisses and St. Pat's Day.  That would be the Hershey Kiss Shamrock - she's one smart cookie!   The hat is a template that I've had for quite sometime from Clear and Simple.  (I couldn't find it on their website - maybe they don't have templates anymore?)  I put a package of chocolate coins inside.

I think this shamrock would make a tasty and fun gift for St. Patrick's Day.  I'm going to make several more.  And I won't (maybe) eat all the Kisses!

ETA:  The winner of my giveaway for the PaperHaus Magazine blog hop is Wendy!   Wendy -  email me with your address and I'll get it off to you!
