It's Paper Sweeties PreRelease Day!

Today begins the sneak peaks of Paper Sweeties newest release.  It's all about the princess  and prince, too!  

I created a belly band card that when open shows  Abigail in her new princess finery.   The stick pin flag was made with the already released Banner Wishes stamp set.

See Abigail's darling crown and pretty gown?   The new stamp sets will be fully revealed on Tuesday, January 15th.  (I used the Upper and Lower Alphas to stamp Happy Birthday.)  Check out the Paper Sweeties Blog for more wonderful projects using the new stamps. And come back here tomorrow!  

Dolly Dingle Strawberry Pocket

I have always loved Dolly Dingle!  This Dolly Dingle's hat reminded me of a strawberry - so you can see where that lead me. 

I used the strawberry file from The Cutting Cafe as my pattern.  I cut 2 strawberries from red felt and only one of the leaf pattern from green.  Before I sewed the sides together, I created the little strawberry seeds from french knots.   One of my friends has been talking about getting a disappearing tracing pencil like the one I have.  I picked it up for her, along with some scissors and ticking remnants.  She's going to be surprised!

The sweet Dolly Dingle is from Nicecrane Designs.  Ignacio has ten different Dolly Dingle sets. 

Some are digi stamps, so you can color them in (I used Copics) and some of them are the vintage originals.  Oh, so cute - every one of them!

Barrow of Hearts for My Time Made Easy

It's the last day for the January release at My Time Made Easy.  

This wheelbarrow is an older template and is so cute!  It's also easy to make.  I used the Barrow of Blooms .  I didn't fill it with blooms, however.  I filled it with chocolate hearts and a really cute felt heart ornament.

I  filled the red felt heart so it has a little poof.  The tag is a sentiment from  Sweet Sentiments.  I can't wait to see what everyone else has created.  Links to their blogs are below:

With All My Heart at My Time Made Easy

Welcome to my third post for the January release at My Time Made Easy!   LOVE this heart box. It's called With All My Heart.  I especially like the scalloped top and bottom (which are optional).

To create the top, I used the Rolled Bloom cut file.  It makes such pretty roses.  The tag is from Sweet Sentiments digi stamps.  Dennis loves chocolates, so I went over to 42nd Street Candy Company today.  He'll be happy that chocolates are in that box!

Just A Gift for My Time Made Easy

Today, I'm sharing with you another new template released this month at My Time Made Easy.  It's called Just A Gift.  Love the pretty scalloped top on this template.

The tag is made with a new cut file set BFF Valentine Tags.  The rose is made with the Rolled Bloom cut file.

With Love at My Time Made Easy

It's January release time at My Time Made Easy.   Have we got some great templates for you this month!  Love this little hinged gift box.  It's called Clamped Shut.

This was fun to decorate.  To make the flower, I cut a piece of cryogen white using Blossoming into Spring cut file.  Then I colored the flower and leaves using my copics and aged the them with distress ink.  I wrapped the box with two washi tapes - love that pink lace one!

I  made a tag to go inside the box using Fine Finish cut file and Round Off stamp set.

Inspiration Photo at Craft Us Crazy

We've got an inspiration photo at Craft Us Crazy.   A new challenge starts today and you can either use the inspiration photo or link up with Something New.  Here's the inspiration photo:

I think it's pretty easy to come with something from it.  I love the little tomato pincushion, so I went with that.  Our sponsor this week is Ginger Blossom Designs.  The prize is a totebag made from the fabric in the inspiration photo - that's pretty cool!  

I've been wanting to make an embroidery hoop decoration, so this seemed like the perfect time.  This little cutie is from the Crafty Characters set from Wild Olive.  I tea dyed some muslin fabric and then traced the pincushion with a fading pencil at one of the windows in our french doors.  

When I finished up the embroidery, I used distress inks (red and green) to add some color.  I decided I wanted it to hang, so I added a ribbon at the top.  

The embroidery floss card attached at the bottom is a stamp and die from Papertrey Ink.  This just makes me happy to look at it!
