The Bride

I'm still working on my cousin's cards for her Women's Friendship Dinner.  The theme is Wedding.  I could not get a good picture of this card.  I finally resorted to holding it up by our french doors.  Sometimes photography is frustrating!  The challenge this week at City Crafter is to use a doily and a flower.  I thought this might tie into the wedding theme quite nicely.  I spritzed a doily with Cherub Glimmer Mist and cut out the middle.  Then I gathered the scalloped edges of the doily and added the silk flowers, kind of creating  a mini bride bouquet.
The bride's veil is sprinkled with glitter.  I used Papertrey Ink stamps to create the background.  The decorative paper is Graphic 45 and Fancy Pants.   Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!
