Happy New Year!

Do you have plans this evening to ring in the New Year?   Dennis and I are cooking our own steak and potato dinner - just a quite evening in...whether I'll be able to stay up until midnight is up in the air!  I'm usually the "early to bed, early to rise" type.  I've been known to fall asleep and miss the whole thing!

I had a couple of requests for New Year's cards.
Kirby, one of the guys I work, with always gets his wife a New Year's card.  I think it 's a special night for them, besides being New Year's.  Did you propose on New Year's, Kirby?
And one of my best customers, Suzanne, ordered a couple for friends.   Vintage images, of couse and pretty dyed seam binding ribbon.  Oh, such sweet things.  Happy, happy 2011 to all of you!

  1. ohmy what fabulous new year's cards, lori! loooove the sweet vintage look! wonderful images.
i'm like you, early to bed, early to wake up. we are playing firecrackers for good luck and toasting the new year as a family. we often watch the ball drop on t.v.
hope you have a wonderful new year's. steak and potato sound yummy! here's to an awesome 2011! *hugs* steph :)

  2. I love the cuckoo clock card. Very cute. Unfortunately, I now have whatever it was Paul had, so I'm not up to standing around in below-freezing temperatures! We did buy a bottle of Perrier-Jouët last time we were at the grocery store, so I'm excited to have some of that. "Mmmm pencil shavings!" :-)

  3. Happy New Year Lori, thanks for sharing your beautiful vintage work, like always, I just love them.
I received your New Year's card and yummy goodies, thanks a million!

  4. Oh, your New Year´s cards are so lovely Lori! Couldn´t say which one I like best! They´re all so pretty! Happy New Year to you and yours! Ira
