Anniversary Card

We've had a couple of mile-stone anniversaries recently.  My mom and dad had their 50th in December.  Dennis and I had our 30th in June.   And Dennis's parents are getting close to 60 years.   While Dennis was in the hospital ,nurses kept asking how long we've been married.  They were all amazed at 30 years and said they rarely saw that anymore.

This the card for my in-laws.  I challenged myself to use nothing but white.  I did allow silver for the sentiment.  All the dies and the sentiment, too, are from Papertrey Ink.  Oops, no - the hearts are from Spellbinders.  Have you had any mile-stone anniversaries recently?

  1. That's such an elegant card Lori, love the stunning whites. It is something to be grateful for, when you've been together for so long. My husband and I have been a couple for 25 years (of which 19 years of marriage) and it still feels like yesterday! Hope you and your DH are both doing fine?

  2. Congratulations to your parents and to your in-laws! How wonderful for them to still have each other. Congratulations to you and your husband, too--so glad to hear that he's doing well.
Thanks for dropping by my blog. You asked when I was last in Oklahoma; 2007 for my 50th high school reunion. It was the first my class had ever had, so it was a challenge recognizing each other under all that white hair--or lack of any hair, in some cases.

  5. Oooh I really like the all-white. (Reminds me of Grandma Jessie's china pattern, too.) I don't doubt that nurses don't see people who've been married thirty years very often. My marriage has already outlasted that of some of my acquaintances and it's only been 3 1/2 years!
